The latest in politics today? Cracks are starting to show in the EFF machine, Cyril Ramaphosa continues to do his Motlanthe thing and  MaMbeki’s funeral happens tomorrow. BUT, in anticipation of Youth Day on Monday, there is simply nothing more politically relevant right now than YOU, the young person.

So, in celebration of uh, Youth Weekend, we’ve asked the Live Mag SA  team to tell us all about what they’re doing with their freedom. Check it out –

Kay Selisho, 22 Live Mag Editorial Team

I’m using my freedom to go after a future that I’m free to create. Whether its the big house that I want or travelling across the world and following my career,  I’m doing what I’m doing with my freedom because I’m grateful enough to be able to do all these things.

Syd Sidwaba 26, Youth Development Manager, Live Mag SA

What I’m with my freedom is pushing boundaries and doing things my parents wouldn’t have been able to do before me.

Mpho Lehlongwa, 23 Entertainment Journalist Live Mag SA

What I do with my freedom is mainly express myself through the writing that I do via the awesome publication I work for. (Live Mag SA!) What I’ve done and will do is actually expressing myself through every element freedom has to offer.

Thapelo Mosioua, 22 Social Media Manager –  Live Mag SA VIP Campaign

I do what I love. I wake up everyday and do what I love for a living! That is what I do with my freedom – being a journalist.

Yule Dlamini, 22, Digify, Live Mag SA

What I’m doing with my freedom is exploring and meeting new people from different backgrounds, places,  all races, all ages, all genders, yeah!

Thami Sithole, 25, Digify

What I’m doing with my freedom is pretty much doing what I choose to do and when to do it. I simply wanna live my life. I don’t wanna live my life according to what other people do or society’s norms.

Nqobile Mkhonza, photographer Live Mag SA
