Live SA offers a six-month internship programme in which participants will gain on-the-job experience in a real working environment, creating industry-standard content for a national audience of their peers, under the guidance of a team of media mentors who are all working professionals in their respective fields.

All interns are offered career counselling, CV and portfolio editing, opportunities to network with and learn from relevant media industry professionals, as well as assistance with further employment or education placements after programme completion.

All positions are unpaid internships, for work experience and mentorship only. Transport is provided and all content-related expenses are covered. Internships run on a three-month cycle, and require a four day/week commitment. Applicants must be 25 years old, or younger.
Interns will design elements for our online platforms, including our website livemag.co.za, YouTube channel and social media networks. They will also be involved with various branding briefs.

Prospective candidates need to have experience in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. They should have an interest in layout, and an understanding of typography. Experience in illustration and web design is an asset, but not mandatory.
