Our latest in the series of youth news reports for the eNCA news channel focuses on prison rehabilitation for young ex-offenders. This rehabilitation works for some but its effectiveness is questioned by others. On this news report, we interview a young offender, Sive Nkwekwana who is currently undergoing the rehabilitation program at Drankenstein Prison, in the Western Cape. We also talk to Tlhabanelo Diholo from Young in Prison, an NGO that uses creative arts to teach life skills to young prisoners; Zamikhaya Ncamazana, the head of Drankenstein youth centre; Sipho Nopotwa, an ex-offender who went through the rehab program and is now an entrepreneur and more.
