The 5th of July, marked the return of the extravagant Vodacom Durban July at the Greyville race course. Hats, dresses and suits were the order of the day the day as couples arrived decked to the nines in this years theme “Captain of the ship”. Even though others didn’t really follow the dress code best believe they were “swagged” out to the best of their abilities.

This was my first time attending the Vodacom Durban July, and not only was I blown away by the people and their extravagant outfits but also by the various marquees that were available. Basically the event allowed you to find a marquee that suits your style of music, crowd and even drink of choice. Marques such as the Afrotainment , SABC and the Jack Daniels BoomTown were favorites among the people as there were exceptionally long lines outside of them which as accompanied by a crazy crowd which was already inside.
