Livity Africa and Project Demo brought together 16 young women from all over Johannesburg recently to hold a workshop on social, political and feminist activism.
The aim of the workshop was to connect the young women for future partnerships and collaborations.
The workshop sessions included a broad range of topics including, “Mapping our understanding of feminism” by Pearl Pillay, a discussion on “How social media has changed political activism” by Mbali Ntuli and an exploration of “Women’s rights in international security” by Ottilia Maunganidze.
