- RoboCop
A modern remake of the classic RoboCop franchise starring Joel Kinnaman in the title role the film also stars Gary Oldman and Samuel L. Jackson. Set in 2028 it retells the tale of how policeman Alex Murphy is critically injured in the line of duty and is given a second life as the mechanized crime fighter.
- Godzilla
One of the most exciting releases of the year is the reboot of the 1988 Japanese monster thriller of the same name. This epic 2014 rendition retells the origins of Godzilla in modern times.
- Expendables 3
Ever imagine all your favourite action heroes in one movie? Sylvester Stallone brings back an even bigger star-studded line up for the 3rd installment of the franchise which features everyone from Jet Li to Mel Gibson! This will also be Wesley Snipes’ first movie since his release from prison in April 2013. The mercenary group comes face to face with the group’s estranged co-founder who is out for revenge.
- 22 Jump Street
The sequel to the 2012 remake of the classic 1980’s crime drama. Tatum and Hill graduate with their buddy cop act from high school to college working undercover to uncover a crime syndicate within a fraternity while doing so questioning their partnerships arise.
- Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Set 15 years after the events of Rise of the Planet of the Apes the second installment continues the story of how ultra-intelligent simian Caesar presides over the fall of human civilization. A band of human survivors of the devastating virus released a decade earlier pose a threat to the growing ape kingdom both side wage a war that will determine who will be earth’s dominant species.
- 300: Rise of an Empire
If you enjoyed the epic movie known as 300 then you will certainly enjoy the upcoming prequel Rise of an Empire which takes place before, during and after the fatal battle. The movie will also provide insight into some the character’s backstories including how Xerxes became the “god King”.
- X-Men: Days of Future Past
The 4th instalment of the Marvel Comics inspired movie franchise finds Wolverine, Beast & Storm being the only surviving members of the original X-Men. Now they have to team up with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class to go back to the past in order to change the outcome of a fatal future for the mutant race.
- Noah
Russell Crowe stars as Noah in this biblical epic film that’s based on the story of Noah in the book of Genesis in the bible. Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson & Ray Winstone complete the ensemble cast Directed by Darren Aronofsky.
- Transformers: Age of Extinction
Transformers 4 comes in the wake of the destruction of Transformers 3 when humanity is still trying to put the pieces back together. 4 years later Autobots & Decepticons have all but vanished from the earth but an all powerful ancient Transformer menace has set the earth in his crosshairs. Mark Wahlberg is set to lead an entirely new cast in this epic adventure Directed again by Micheal Bay and Executive Produced by Steven Spielberg
