Gugu Nonjinge is a 20-year-old ordinary girl from the small town of Mount Frere, Eastern Cape. She studied at the University of Cape Town where she had her own talk show on UCT Radio. She is a writer and features editor for Live mag SA which entails taking part in editorial meetings and working with the editor to decide which feature stories should be on the magazine. She also does voice overs for various companies.

Being a stylist gives her the opportunity to work with major bloggers and shops so as to modernise her style and be on the loop of the trendiest items in fashion. With a diverse range of taste, her sense of style varies from vintage look to the tom boy look and sometimes sophisticated look but basically to mix and match whatever looks good together.

Being a non-conformist, she believes in breaking boundaries when it comes to clothing.

She looks up to the creative likes of Siyabonga Ngwekazi, who she finds ‘incredibly stylish’ .

She finds it weird that at night she muses on her sleep on what to wear the following day .

A lover of happy socks and Chuck Taylors, she never leaves the house without a beanie in a her bag and believes that everyone should at least own one.
