Join us for the first of our new Live VIP ZA event series – the VIP Debate Club – next Tuesday 30 September in the heart of Braamfontein. The VIP Debate Club will be a regular open event at which young people are invited to discuss and debate some of the most pertinent youth-specific political topics of the day in a relaxed space over a drink. Facilitated by young social commentators and influencers, the club is a great place to join like-minded people for a healthy debate.
As it is Heritage Month, our first debate will be centred around the prevailing notion that young people are happy to discard their cultural heritage and practices in order to be considered “progressive” and not alienate themselves within urban cultural settings.
Is this entirely true? Who says we don’t wanna be African?
Join the debate!
