The fever that once infected billions of soccer loving fans four years ago has returned. Symptoms of euphoria, trumpeting vuvuzelas, football ecstasy, war cries, sing songs and tremulous vibrations emitted from feet stomped in the stadium are slowly making a come back.

Brazil, believed to be the home of football, are hosting this festival of football artistry. Fans from all over the world are travelling to Sao Paulo for the opening match between host nation Brazil and Croatia on Thursday at 22:00 local time.
