Limpopo, Polokwane province. My city that’s been hidden behind shadows is about to explode as I give you a little tour of all hidden goodies. Like any other province in S.A, Polokwane has its own attractions and ‘fun activities’.
We have Bakone Malapa open-air museum, that displays the traditional and modern day culture, craft made by local craftsman, the Chuene Crocodile Farm were croc feeds and frequent talks provide a fascinating insight on the impressive beasts. Polokwane Bird and Reptile Park – famous for its snake demonstrations is popular feature of this attractive park.
I can go on for decades talking about the amazing sites but that wouldn’t be covering ALL of Polokwane.
A guide won’t be complete mentioning the night life. Meropa casino comes as top entertainment with sports bars, african cocktails, local wines, live music, karaoke nights, local comedy acts and the list goes on and on and on. Every street in town has its own way to fulfill your fantasy from Rensburg and Suid str. to Plot palm and back to Sterkloop
Do yourself a favour and head up north and capture the heartland of Southern Africa.
