Ahead of our next Creative Hustles-Street culture pop-up event; presented by Live SA and British Council Connect ZA In partnership with Jam that Session and Boaston Society next week Thursday . We are proudly and excitedly enticing you with Andi Mkosi’s music and giving proper heads-up about this awesome performer who will be partaking and giving her all on the Creative Hustles stage.
Make sure you familiarize yourself with this grand and talented artist and be inspired.
Simply known as “Andy”. She grew up around people that listened to a variety of music, at an early age she was bombarded with Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Country, Kwaito and more.
The interesting part about all of this was that she was never interested in the melody of the song but rather what the artist was saying and the message that was being conveyed.
And the highlight of her career so far was performing at the Hip Hop Indaba 2011 and most importantly opening up for Jean Grae and Pharoah Monch at the Ibuyambo Centre in 2012.
And affirms that this is where she had realised that she had something good within her and that sharing it with the masses made her even happier. Follow her on twitter @AndyMkosi
