Nothing is too fancy for Lady Gaga! While the 26-years-old singer is currently recovering from a surgery, she has been spotted in a 24-karat gold plated wheelchair created by a New-York designer.
”I certainly wasn’t expecting that phone call,” explained the designer Ken Borochov to the New York Post. ”[I] have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the chariot, a chair fit only for a queen”
It is not the first time that the designer works for Queen Gaga. The jeweler designed an ornate crown last year for her, as well as the golden claw she wore for an appearance at the famous shopping centre in London, Harrods.
The wheelchair has a removable leather canopy, a leg-rest and Wisconsin-made spoke rim wheels. And if Lady Gaga feels a little bit tired, she can have nap, thanks to a removable seat which can recline all the way.
The designer didn’t reveal the price of the golden chariot to American newspaper The Daily Beast, but considering the current gold exchange rates, the price of the chair should be close to $2600.
