“Be Honest”, a Love Jam for the Summer

Summer is just around the corner and some of our favorite artists are releasing the hottest tracks to go along with it. One of those is critically acclaimed artist, Jorja Smith, whose song, “Be Honest” featuring Burna Boy, was released Friday 16 August. 

“Be Honest” is the first official single since Jorja’s Lost and Found album last year.  She’s been posting teasers on the song since Monday on her social media and we think it’s pretty safe to say that it was totally worth the wait.

The song includes Jorja’s angelic voice singing over light guitar strings and Carribean drums, infused with tropical sounds. Produced by Cadenza and Izy Beats, “Be Honest” is nothing short of transcendent. The track’s lyrics plays with themes of dishonesty, desire and resistance in pursuits of romance and love. It’s a sure fire hit!
