Money and drugs.

They want to be respected and seen as the “cool” people

To hide their weaknesses.

They want to protect their area .

To get what they want e.g clothes.

Be remembered. To improve their living standards and run away from the treatment they get from home.

To get love and affiliation they not getting from home and close relatives.

Legacy (Keeping the family name) and back up friends.
