A true pioneer of Dubstep and Grime will be headlining our final #FutureMusic shows of 2013.
London-based Plastician has released tracks on labels such as ROAD, Soulja, OWSLA and Trouble & Bass. Plastician also runs his own imprint – Terrorhythm Recordings.
This November, upcoming South African music talent will get the chance to perform in a special weekend of performances that will lead to one act being chosen to perform at the Roundhouse Rising festival at the iconic Roundhouse music venue in London (UK) next February 2014.
For the climax of the British Council Connect ZA and Live SA #FutureMusic series for this year, the hunt is on for emerging SA bands, producers and performers to put themselves forward for consideration to a judging panel of experts.
Six acts will be shortlisted to perform in either Cape Town or Johannesburg at the #FutureMusic shows on the 8 and 9 November. The judging panel will then select the best of the best for the UK performance next year.
Nominations close Saturday 26 October and the shortlisted acts will be announced Wednesday 30 October 2013.
