DIGITAL 101

Digital 101 is designed to give you the basics of digital marketing in one day.  This is not an advanced course, but one that will show you the A-Z in digital marketing , starting with a brief overview of the history of the Internet and how it has become such a pivotal part of our daily lives. Digital 101 is divided into seven modules. See full descriptions of each below.

Intro to Online Marketing: This workshop will take you briefly through all the different elements of online marketing and how they fit together to run an online campaign.

Traditional vs Digital Marketing: What exactly is the difference between digital marketing and traditional marketing and why are the benefits of going digital? This section will help you understand the difference between traditional and digital media, what can be achieved and how best to use digital marketing platforms for your needs.

Introduction to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO):  Want to know how to make your website easily found on the Internet? This introduction to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) breaks down the secret to a successful web presence and the tips and tricks that will help your website reach the top of the Google search page.

Introduction to Paid Advertising (PPC): Paid Advertising, otherwise known as Pay Per Click advertising (PPC) refers to all the online advertising platforms that are available for marketing. You will learn about Google Adwords, social media paid ads and how to use them to reach the right people at a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising.

Web Design and UX: Web design and User Experience (UX) touches on the art of making effective websites that are easy to navigate and serve users’ needs. Understanding UX design will allow you to develop an effective Web presence that can help both you and your followers to achieve your goals.

Content Marketing: Content Marketing is more than just a digital marketing buzzword, it’s the lifeblood of your digital marketing . In this section we will cover  how to create compelling, valuable content that will help you to build a strong following and reach more people online.

Social Media: This workshop will show how to use social media to maximize your reach, create compelling content and  learn the skills necessary to take a brand from zero to hero.

STRATEGY 101

Now that you have the basics of digital marketing, Strategy 101 will allow you to take it to the next level by understanding how to develop the winning strategies that will increase followers and build consumer loyalty. This session is divided into five modules. Below is a description of each.

Digital Strategy – Social Wheel Linking A digital strategy is like a blueprint of how you plan to use all your digital elements and platforms to achieve your goals. Whether it comes down to marketing a brand, communicating a particular message or just building an online presence, a digital strategy is key in making sure that all your efforts lead to your goals. Social wheel linking teaches you how to link all your digital activities to achieve your online goals.

Get Inside Your Customer’s Head- The Pitch : Having a clear goal and strategy is great, but what good is a great digital strategy if it doesn’t reach the intended audience? This section will teach you how to identify and  effectively reach your desired target audience and address your customers’ needs.

Research and Trends: With the breakneck speed of change and dynamic nature of the internet, it’s important to stay ahead of the trends. This section will show you tools and techniques for analysing research and trends so that you will always be on your game.

Measuring Success in Digital Marketing:  Learn how to keep track of how a brand, site or campaign  is performing on the Internet.  In this section you will learn how to gather and understand data to help you make informed decisions about what your customers and fans want and how best to go about giving it to them.

Roll Out and Take To Market Strategy:  Now that you have an awesome new digital strategy, how do you implement it? This section will walk you through creating a timeline and implementation plan to help you easily and effectively launch your digital strategy.   After this section you will be one step closer to accomplishing your digital goals.
