Wassup fellaz the summer season has landed and there is so much to explore out there. The music scene is buzzing with hit songs, there are parties everywhere and not forgetting the pretty ladies who are all over. Everybody is on their grind, pushing hard and trying to get themselves out there. Question is, how do you get yourself out there? Right in the middle of Westdene is a store, which has the name Home Grwn marked on it. Immediately when you step in you can sense the fun and distinct atmosphere from the way the store is designed to the different clothing that has been displayed. With t-shirts, sneakers and sweaters from brands such as Adidas Skateboarding, Dope, Quicksilver Ubuntuism and plenty more. Wandile Msomi thrives on making sure that this store caters, not only to skaters, but for every other dope person out there. Did someone say style? Ha ha, I’m sure you’ve heard about them or seen their clothing on young people all over. Stylagang are a group of young people who are serious about making their mark. “We look at what people are wearing, then we design their style in a unique way,” they said during a very interesting interview. They want their clothing to worn by people who appreciate street culture and different clothing. What keeps them motivated, well their backgrounds.
