LIVE: Where do you come from?

Robin: I was born in Belgravia here in Cape Town.

LIVE: What position do you play?

Robin: Striker/left or right wing.

LIVE: What has been the best moments and highlights of your career so far?

Robin: Scoring a goal for my team in the final to clinch national champions in 2010 to 2011 season and winning the league, gaining promotion to the National First Division and then the following season winning promotion again but to the Premier Soccer League.

LIVE: If you were not playing soccer, where would you be?

Robin: Playing another sport, because I had to decide between few sports and I chose soccer. If not a sport then I would be studying further in the sports field.

LIVE: Which NFD and PSL player(s) do you admire?

Robin: Don’t really admire anyone in the NFD, but in the PSL is Daine Klate.

LIVE: Who is the most difficult opponent to face at NFD and why?

Robin: There’s a few teams in the league but for me the toughest games to play against are the Cape Town derbies like playing against Santos, Milano United, and Vasco da Gama. There is always a fight or a red card and the game is always tight.

LIVE: Which teams in SA would you like to play for?

Robin: Orlando Pirates or any other team in the PSL.

LIVE: How many goals have you scored so far?

Robin: One goal so far.

LIVE: Which Chippa United player do you admire and feel comfortable with?

Robin: Most of the guys I’ve been with in the team for almost four years so I’m comfortable with everyone.

LIVE: Future visions in five years from now?

Robin: To be playing in the PSL or overseas and scoring more goals and to start a family. God willing.

LIVE: Your club has been relegated from the PSL and yet you have a new coach. How is the spirit or the atmosphere in terms of working hard to get back at PSL next season?

Robin: [laughs] Well, our team is known for chopping and changing coaches a lot but we kept our coach when we got relegated. After three games he left and again we get a new coach and he has big plans for us at the moment. Our chairman is expecting us to bounce back and get back to the PSL. We have the talent and we are third so far in the log standing. It’s still early days but we are looking good so far and the coach is lifting our spirit and grinding us at training.
