Do you believe that your business idea or innovation can change communities for the better? Brightest Young Mind is on the search for 100 young social entrepreneurs to attend their annual summit.

The event brings together young social entrepreneurs and top business and industry leaders to figure out what one thing: harness ideas into socially responsible businesses.

After the summit, delegates officially become part of the BYM network and will have access to intra-network mentorship, leadership development, networking and further access to funding and business support.

This year’s theme  5 to 365 days. There will be workshop, networking and an opportunity to hear from notable public figures. Past speakers include former Public Protector Thuli Mandonsela and the late Robben Island inmate and struggle icon Ahmed Kathrada.

“My experience with BYM showed me that there are really amazing young people that do care about issues and want to talk about them,” says Glenn Kisela from youth online publication On The Line. “It inspired me to find individuals like the ones I met at the summit and help create a platform where they can spread their message.

Past attendees include founder and CEO of online education platform GetSmarter Sam Paddock and co-founder of SnapScan Helge Reikerås.  The summit, which is open to all Africans between the ages of 20 and 35, takes place in Johannesburg, 25 to 29 September.

To be part of the event, apply on the BYM website.
