Spring doesn’t mean a new wardrobe if you know how to update key items from winter, like army jackets and ankle boots. We went through some of favourite Instagrammers feeds to show you how:

Leather anything

Rocking leather in spring sounds like a no-no, but it can be done. Take this breezy leather skirt and denim shirt combo by @nadia_sylvester. You can also pair your leather item with a bright-coloured crop top, denim shorts or summer dress.

Green army jackets

Olive green jackets that were big in winter will work this season, too. Like @sandi_bayne_, who looks cute in this daylit picture, they will keep you warm in rainy or cold evening weather. Play around with looks: pair up with pants or a dress.

Ankle boots

Who doesn’t love an ankle boot? It’s so versatile. In winter, with tights, it keeps you warm and stylish like @zarahbellum. But it also works well in spring and summer, all you have to do is leave out the tights and try on with a pair of jeans or shorts.

Happy woman’s day peeps

Scarves

Pearl Modiadie (@pearlmodiadie) is really working that scarf, which is another item that works all season. In winter it’s great for around the neck and shoulders. But if you have one as beautiful as Pearl’s, why park it for the warm months when you can turn it into a head wrap or turban.
