Cape Town, here’s a chance to kickstart your digital marketing career for free
by: Morwesi Ndlovu - 2 November 2015
Ever wondered how major brands like Mini Cooper, Nandos’ and MTN spread the word about their products in the digital space? Well, look no further because DigifyZA is here to give you all the answers.
Developed by Livity Africa, in partnership with Google South Africa and IAB SA, DigifyZA is a free digital marketing boot camp, which was created to introduce young people to the world of digital marketing and equip them with skills to kick start their careers.
Digifyers are supported by industry experts through an intense three-month period of working on weekly briefs from some of South Africa’s most exciting brands and advertising agencies.
With the assistance of Google tutors, Digify candidates get to learn about Google modules like Search, AdWords, Analytics and YouTube.
Our very first Digify Cape Town cohort is currently in session with a group budding young minds learning to build wireframes, digital campaign strategies and adapting to a work environment.
“It’s broadened my knowledge about the digital world and I’ve learned new things about myself since attending Digify”, says 21-year- old Britney Hickley, a former Cape Town Digifyer.
